Recycling performance in purpose-built flats in London has been identified as a key target area to help achieve London and national recycling targets. Resource London is carrying out a trial with six local authorities and a housing association to design series of interventions to increase recycling. As part of this, I have been providing communications advice and support on the development of new flats signage and supporting collateral for residents involved with the trial. The new signage is now installed, the results will be reviewed over the coming months.

Provision of strategic advice and support to Resource London for the development and implementation of their communications strategy for 2017 – 2020 including: reviewing insights, defining objectives and KPIs, agreeing brand values and guidelines, campaign creation, multi-channel activities, evaluation mechanisms and reporting processes.

As part of the Recycle for London programme, I managed the systems and processes to distribute funding to London Boroughs resulted in increased awareness and participation in local services.

Realised cost savings of approximately £1.3 million for local authorities.
